As you can tell by the title of this website and this picture…I am not very old and I don’t have decades of experience to fall back on. That being said, I have never viewed that as a death sentence in the world of professional selling. There are a number of other aspects that play into the success of a young professional, like myself. That belief is why I have decided to launch this site…
So what does it take? As my dad has always told me, “It is first, to honor the dream…and then be willing to do the work!” There are a number of talented, passionate people that never taste their potential because they cannot commit to do the work.
As far as my professional background is concerned, I have had the opportunity to fully submerge myself in the world of professional selling since I graduated college. Not only have I had the opportunity to sell for our company, I have had the opportunity to present on a number of topics including leveraging social media to grow your business, selling to purchasing agents, and owning our own personal value proposition. In a nutshell…I am young but refuse to let that impede my success in this industry.
On a personal level, I am a husband, a son, and a product of the gifted people that I surround myself with. I have been blessed to have so many people take a genuine interest in my well-being and I would not be where I am today without each of them. My beautiful wife, Caitlyn, is the talented dietitian at LifeTime Fitness in Mansfield, TX . Needless to say, I know the caloric density and fiber count of everything that I eat! To say that she is the love of my life would be an understatement. I also have a wonderful family that has always supported me and encouraged me to take dead aim and put in the work. My dad, Jim Jacobus (www.ratedr4results.com), has been a speaker/trainer/consultant for almost 20 years and is also the owner of our company, Champion Education Resources.
